Spinach has always been a tricky one in our home . While Sam loves most fruits and vegetables, he absolutely hates spinach. I used to struggle to sneak it into meals until I found the easiest trick: juice! Blending fresh spinach with a little ginger and lemon and apples creates a refreshing, light drink that doesn’t taste “too green” and is gentle enough for kids.
Now, Sam happily sips it without a fuss, and I love knowing he’s getting iron, vitamin C, and antioxidants in just a few gulps. For us grown-ups, it’s also the perfect quick nutrient boost especially on busy mornings. Simple, hydrating, and immune supporting.
Recipe:
3 green apples
1 handful fresh spinach
1 thumb-sized piece of ginger
½ lemon, peeled
