Many times I get asked how we still find time for each others since we are so busy, yes our life is extremely busy but in the middle of hectic days, pressure and things people don’t always get to see… we still find moments like this. It’s in the morning breakfast together, it’s being intentional on synching our schedules where possible to still have our moments. Moments where we are reminded we can be exactly who we are, be fun, be spontanous and be simply us. Two people who fell in love with each other for the simple things and who keep growing together

Meeting this brave young girl reminded me why I started my figolli kit project. I feel an even deeper responsibility to use my voice for something bigger than myself. And today, I want to say thank you, to every single person across our nation who is giving, calling, and showing what unity really looks like. Puttinu Telethon is hope. It’s strength. It’s families being lifted in their hardest moments and having truly a home away from their own.

Today I want to speak honestly about loneliness… and the anxiety that can come with it. Today is Good Friday, a day of reflection. A time filled with beautiful Maltese traditions… but for some, it can also feel heavy and lonely for some.
Last Christmas, when I spoke about this, so many of you reached out saying you felt seen. And that’s why we need to keep talking about it.
Please remember that you are not alone. Whether you’re a single parent, feeling isolated, unwell, grieving, or just going through a hard time… what you feel is valid.
Mental health matters. There is strength in speaking up and asking for help. Let’s look out for each other. Reach out… or be the one who does.

4 years ago I had a dream. I was in the middle of my healing journey. I wasn’t interested in dating, I didn’t even know Alex yet, but somehow I knew I wanted to give back to the community and help others in need.

I’ve just completed my fourth project in aid of Puttinu Cares, a passion project I started small 4 years ago, which is incredibly close to my heart and one I truly cherish. This journey continues to remind me just how generous and united the Maltese people are when it comes to supporting one another. A heartfelt thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers who believed in me and in this project and all of you who bought the kits. With your help, we raised €10,000 which are all going in aid of puttinu cares.

Today was a kind of different Sunday 🤍
We took Sam to try out Grid Kids and put his skills to the test… and honestly, watching him step out of his comfort zone, challenge himself, and just go for it made me so proud.
But what touched me even more… was seeing him help his friend. Encouraging him, and celebrating him just as much as himself. 🥹

And as a parent, you realize… you’re not just raising a child, you’re raising kindness, resilience, courage, and belief.

Sam will always be the centre of our world. Not because it’s always easy. Not because we have it all figured out. But because we choose it, every single day. We choose to show up. We both choose to be present.
We choose to put him first, even on the days we’re tired, overwhelmed, or stretched thin.

As most of you know, I love incorporating juices into my diet
*Disclaimer: this is not a meal replacement* I add these juices on top of my breakfast as an extra reinforcement of vitamins and minerals, especially right now while I’m dealing with sore throats and coughs.
Lately, I’ve been loving a mix with ginger, lemon, and beetroot: simply juice 2 apples, 1 beet, thumb size ginger & 1/2 lemon.
Ginger helps soothe the throat and has powerful anti-inflammatory properties
Lemon is packed with vitamin C to support immunity
Beetroot boosts circulation and supports overall energy

Because the truth is, the world we want starts at home.

Standing there, sharing my tips, my tools, and everything that has helped me stay consistent, it felt empowering, but also incredibly real. Because what meant the most wasn’t just speaking… it was listening.
Hearing your struggles, your challenges, your “I don’t know where to start” moments, that’s exactly why I do this.
Meal prep isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up for yourself, even on the busy days.

It also reminded me that at this time 5 years ago I was a complete mess, it was soon Sam’s first birthday I was a complete wreck. Had given up on the thought that one day I will be happy again. A little message to the single mums out there. Your story doesn’t stop here. It can just be the beginning of a life you’ve always dreamed of when it’s with the right peron. The person who keeps their word, who shows up even on the busiest of days. 🤍

It’s amazing how much confidence kids gain from doing the things they see us do. With just a little help from us, they feel capable, proud, and excited to try again.
Sam loves baking with me and taking the lead. Having the KitchenAid makes it so much easier as it handles the mixing while I focus on guiding him and enjoying the moment.
Of course, I always take precautions as he’s still learning, but with supervision he feels like a real little master baker.
This mixer has been with me for over 8 years, and it’s still going strong through so many family baking moments. And now it’s part of Sam’s childhood memories too. Because sometimes the best confidence building moments for our kids start with a little flour on the counter, a messy kitchen… and a mummy who says,
Bravu, you can do it.

As a designer, seeing an artwork come to life is always a privilege. But when that artwork is created for a good cause and for a project you’ve poured your heart into, it becomes something even more special. It becomes a dream.

This year I upgraded the packaging to a stronger, sturdier box, designed not just to protect what’s inside, but to last longer too. A box that can be kept, reused and recycled later on… maybe even to store toys and little treasures. ♻️

A big thank you to Multipackaging for bringing my boxes to life and helping turn this vision into reality. I’m so proud of what we created together. 🤍

Ever since Sam could sit up, he’s been right there with me in the kitchen. Year after year we’ve made our traditional bakes, cookies, and so many sweet treats together. But the truth is, what I love baking the most isn’t the food… it’s watching his curiosity grow and seeing the pride on his face when he accomplishes something on his own.
Now he even knows how to use the KitchenAid all by himself although we still have to make sure the speed stays on low. 🤭

Yes, he made a mess. Flour everywhere, sprinkles on the floor… the usual chaos.
But you know what else we made?
We bonded.
We laughed.
And we created memories that will stay with us for years to come. 🤍
